Desmond Mathews
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER & CO-FOUNDER
Desmond Mathews is a native of Indianapolis and an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering and Technology as well as a Masters in Psychology from Indiana State University. After years in Engineering and Systems Automation, Desmond became Regional Director and a later move into pharmaceutical sales.
As an entrepreneur, Desmond has owned several businesses including a beauty salon on the northeast side of Indianapolis, a real estate company, and a communication/engineering firm.
Desmond opened Cornerstone Distribution in 2011, which led to Cornerstone Support Services. Desmond’s goal for Cornerstone is to set the standard for the industry and become a national leader in service by always prioritizing the client, providing a brand with the highest level of integrity and professionalism, and meticulously following all state and federal guidelines and rules.

Sean Usher
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER & CO-FOUNDER
Sean Usher holds both a Bachelors and Master of Science degree in Criminology along with a Masters in Psychology. He is an active member in Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. Sean started his first business, a delivery company, at age 13, and has been an unstoppable force ever since. He has led several successful businesses including but not limited to Usher & Associates Commercial Cleaning, Usher & Associates Property Preservation and most recently Cornerstone Support Services. Sean has a passion for helping others, especially individuals whom society tends to overlook, which he harvested during his employment at North Willow Center. Sean Usher is a powerful business driver whose entrepreneurial instincts and clarity of vision have carried multiple companies through rapid and continuous growth.
As the owner and CFO of Cornerstone Support Services, Sean is able to combine his passion for helping others with his natural ability to lead a successful company.

Joshua Tidwell
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Joshua Tidwell holds a Bachelors in Communication and a Masters in Psychology from Indiana State University and is an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
Joshua has held several roles at Cornerstone such as Direct Support Staff Member, Family Support Specialist, Program Coordinator, and Program Director of Clinical Operations where he oversaw the Behavioral Management Division and Cornerstone’s Day program. Joshua also spearheaded Cornerstone’s approval as a DMHA and Choices provider for CMHI and CMHW services. Now serving as Chief Operating Officer, his initiatives have led to three new divisions and recognition as a Substance Abuse Treatment Facility.

Jennifer Werling
VP of CLINICAL OPERATIONS
Jennifer Werling spent 30 years working with diverse populations on multidisciplinary teams. She earned an MSW from Indiana University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is passionate about providing clinical leadership and innovation to the programs she oversees.
As Vice President of Clinical Operations, Jennifer supports program development and agency vision throughout Cornerstone Support Services by providing technical support and consultation to our clinical team. Jennifer is passionate about fostering a team culture that leads to programmatic growth, financial solvency and ensures all Cornerstone services within the clinical operations are innovative, relevant and marked by excellence.

Leann Trotter
PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Leann Trotter has more than 20 years of experience as a Supervisor and Technical Instructor. Leann has worked for 17 years with the State of Indiana where she excelled in many positions. Her work history includes the Department of Corrections and Bureau of Motor Vehicle, as a Training Officer. She also worked for the Department of Child Services as an Instructional Designer where she engaged in special projects around the states.
Leann currently serves as the Program Director of the Federal Probation Program for Cornerstone.

Jennie Hiland
BILLING DIRECTOR
Jennie Hiland has 15 years of experience as Director of Patient Finance within the 32 years of service at Howard Community in Kokomo.
As Billing Director for Cornerstone, Jennie manages all billing conducted for Cornerstone. Jennie came out of retirement for Cornerstone and has been a great asset, as she has assisted with several divisions across Cornerstone,including managing Family Preservation. Jennie loves working with the Cornerstone Family and considers Cornerstone to be a great place to work.

Jordan Russell
DEPUTY DIRECTOR
Jordan Russell is pursuing a degree in psychology and is dedicated to enhancing the quality of services at Cornerstone. Her prior experience as a Registered Behavior Technician for children with autism enriches her approach to fostering inclusive and effective programs. By championing staff growth and promoting best practices, Jordan plays a crucial role in empowering both clients and team members to thrive.
Jordan is the Deputy Director at Cornerstone, where she oversees program and staff development. Her foundation as a Direct Support Professional and Residential Manager at Cornerstone, brings a comprehensive understanding of client needs and organizational dynamics to her role.

Jazmine Dodd
HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR
Jazmine Dodd holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership and supervision and certifications in Human Resource Management and Human Resource Training and Development from Purdue University. 15 years of HR experience has developed Jazmine’s deep understanding of the intricacies of employee relations, talent acquisition, and organizational development.
As HR Director, Jazmine has been instrumental in resolving complex employee issues and implementing policies that promote inclusivity and diversity at Cornerstone. Her initiatives have enhanced employee engagement, streamlined recruitment processes, and fostered a positive workplace culture.

Bernadette Usher
HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR
Bernadette Usher, affectionately known as “Mrs. B,” serves as the Human Resources Coordinator at Cornerstone Support Services, where she oversees HR assistance, payroll, and benefits coordination. With over 25 years of corporate experience, Bernadette brings seasoned expertise and a compassionate approach to every aspect of her work.
She dedicated 18 years to IBM, building a strong foundation in corporate operations, before joining Cornerstone Support Services, where she has contributed in a variety of roles. Her extensive knowledge, combined with her warm and approachable nature, makes her an invaluable part of the team and a trusted resource for staff across the organization.

Meliek Moss
ESC DEPUTY DIRECTOR
Meliek Moss holds a degree in Communication from Indiana State University and is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. Meliek makes a lasting impact through his leadership and unwavering community engagement. His passion for service derives from his dedication to youth empowerment and mental health advocacy for marginalized communities.
Meliek serves as the Deputy Director at ESC, where he plays a pivotal role in maintaining compliance and supporting operational excellence across the organization. Meliek brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to quality care.

Lyndsey Dinkins
ESC PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Lyndsey Dinkins studied Psychology at Central State University and earned a Masters in Community Psychology from Martin University. She looks forward to becoming a licensed mental health counselor and continuing to learn from the individuals served and our incredible leadership team.
Lyndsey serves a Program Director for the Emergency Shelter Care Program with 10 years of experience as a Family Case Manager for the Indiana Department of Child Services, providing ABA services as a Registered Behavioral Technician, collaborating with families as a home based service provider, and as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation specialist for adults living with severe mental illness.

Brandon Hoskins
ESC PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Brandon Hoskins earned a Bachelors from Indiana State University in Human Development and Family Studies and has completed the St. Mary of the Woods MLD program. Brandon will receive a Masters in Community Psychology in May 2025 from Martin University with the goal to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
Brandon serves as a Program Director over the Emergency Shelter Care Department with Cornerstone Support Services. Brandon has over 12 years of patient care experience and continued education with an on-going passion for adolescents, the geriatric population, and social service that has been passed down from his grandmother and mother.

Shaidra McGrew
ESC PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Shaidra McGrew holds a degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Central State University. Shaidra brings a deep understanding of trauma-informed care, youth development, and systems collaboration. Her work with ABA therapy, DCS, and local Trustee Offices, makes her a trusted leader and advocate for vulnerable youth.
As Program Director of the Emergency Shelter, Shaidra is responsible for overseeing the safety, stability, and overall well-being of the youth in our care, while also managing and training over 60 staff members. Her mission is to uplift, empower, and provide a safe space for every young person ESC encounters.
Family Preservation Team

Tavon McCollum
FAMILY PRESERVATION SPECIALIST
Tavon McCollum holds a Bachelors of Political Science with a focus of Legal Studies and a minor of Spanish from Indiana State University.
Tavon began as a Family Preservation Specialist and a Direct Support Professional with Cornerstone. Being in the field gave her experience and knowledge that she needed. Tavon fell in love with the culture, work ethic, and the quality of care and now serves as the Program Director of Home-Based Services at Cornerstone Support Services where she oversees Home-Based Case Work, Supervised Visitation, Therapeutic Supervised Visitation, Parent-Aid/Education, as well as Home-Based Therapy.
