Cornerstone Support Services, LLC is a home and community-based agency providing quality services and support throughout the Indianapolis area to individuals experiencing substance use disorders, mental health challenges, trauma, and grief. Cornerstone also supports families through its Family Preservation Program and works closely with the Indiana Department of Child Services to provide home based services and emergency shelter care.

Cornerstone is committed to meeting individuals and families where they are. Our services are designed to be accessible, responsive, and supportive of both immediate needs and long term stability.

In addition, Cornerstone supports individuals involved in the justice system. Individuals on probation may receive drug testing and substance use counseling, while individuals on parole may receive both substance use and mental health counseling to promote accountability, stability, and long-term success.

Founded in 2014, Cornerstone was co-founded by Desmond Mathews, Chief Executive Officer, and Sean Usher, Chief Financial Officer, with a vision of providing compassionate, community-based care to individuals and families across Indiana. Today, the leadership team also includes Joshua Tidwell, Chief Operating Officer, who helps guide operational strategy and service delivery across the organization.

Cornerstone’s leadership is deeply rooted in community service and civic engagement. Inspired by a long standing tradition of mentorship and service reflected through Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity (ΚΑΨ), Incorporated, the leadership team remains committed to strengthening families, empowering individuals, and uplifting communities.
