Nurse (Part time 10-15 hrs. /week)
We are seeking an RN or LPN to join our team to support and guide the nursing care & health care coordination services for individuals with intellectual disabilities in our RHS and community based setting in and around Marion County. Responsibilities include providing oversight and guidance of the medication administration system, developing and monitoring health/risk plans, ensuring continuity of care regarding medical appointments, providing health & safety related training to employees, and being an active member on our Human Rights Committee.
Must be a RN or LPN licensed in the state of Indiana in good standing. Minimum 1 year nursing experience. Experience supporting people with disabilities beneficial. Current trainer certification or ability to receive & maintain trainer certification in Core A & B Med Administration and CPR/FA. Ability to work a flexible schedule to support the needs of the individuals. Must provide own transportation with properly registered vehicle, have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
Behavior Clinician (Contract)
We are an expanding Behavioral Support provider seeking Level 2 Behavior Clinicians to join our team and provide direct support in the development and implementation of behavior support services for youth, adolescents and adults with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health challenges throughout Central Indiana. Responsibilities include conducting functional assessments, developing and implementing BSP’s, training support staff on BSP’s & effective implementation strategies, promoting self-advocacy through a person centered approach, and tracking, analyzing and reporting data and progress in accordance with CSS and state regulatory guidelines.
Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology or other applied health service area of psychology; Social Work; or Counseling. Be licensed Therapist, Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor in accordance with IC 25-23-6. Minimum 2 years Behavior Support experience. Ability to work a flexible schedule to support the needs of the individuals. Must provide own transportation with properly registered vehicle, have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
Direct Support Professional (Part time/Full Time)
Cornerstone DSP’s are the core of our company! We are seeking DSP’s to join our team and provide high quality person centered support to youth, adolescents and adults with intellectual disabilities throughout Central Indiana, including Hendricks, Hamilton, Hancock, Henry, Johnson and Marion Counties. Responsibilities include providing direct, interactive support to individuals in various home and community based activities to help them explore, discover and achieve their desired outcomes. DSP’s implement strategies to support the person’s goals, record data and progress, assist with personal care as needed, facilitate and support networking opportunities for individuals that encourage inclusion and community engagement, ensure health & safety precautions are followed, administer medication as directed, and support individual choice and self-advocacy efforts.
Must be 18 years old. Have a High School Diploma, GED or HSE Diploma. Experience working with people with disabilities, CNA, HHA or NADSP Credential beneficial. Ability to apply general understanding and knowledge to carry out instructions in written, verbal or schedule form. Ability to organize and accurately document data and maintain records. Verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with various customers. Ability to work as a team member and promote a positive work culture. Ability to work a flexible schedule to support the needs of the individuals. Must provide own transportation with properly registered vehicle, have a valid driver’s license and insurance. Position requires successful certification in Core A & B Medication Administration, and CPR & First Aid.
